Our Inspiration

'Class Dummy'
Dr. Ben Carson's remarkable journey from being considered a class underachiever to becoming a distinguished pediatric neurosurgeon is an inspiring testament to the power of determination and resilience. Born into humble beginnings in Detroit, Michigan, Carson faced numerous challenges early on, struggling with his studies and self-esteem. However, through unwavering dedication and the support of his mother, who encouraged him to read and believe in his potential, Carson began to excel academically. His innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge propelled him forward, leading him to achieve remarkable feats, including his groundbreaking work in paediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Mission & Vision
We envision a future where the medical profession truly reflects the diversity of our society, ensuring that all voices are heard and all perspectives are valued.
We aspire to create a community where children who once felt limited by their circumstances now see themselves as capable and worthy of pursuing a career in medicine. By nurturing their potential, we hope to not only transform individual lives but also contribute to a healthcare system that is responsive, compassionate, and representative of the patients it serves.
Through Dr. Kiddo, we are striving to reshape the narrative around medical education, making it accessible and achievable for those who have traditionally been marginalized.
Our vision is a future where socioeconomic background is not a barrier, but rather a stepping stone, on the path to becoming compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals who will make a lasting impact on the well-being of our society.
